Position Description: 
• We are seeking an experienced Lead GPT / Generative AI Developer to lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-scale AI solutions powered by Large Language Models (LLMs). You will combine deep technical expertise with strong leadership skills to architect AI platforms, mentor engineering teams, establish development standards, and deliver secure, scalable, and business-focused AI applications.
• This role requires hands-on expertise in GPT development, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents, prompt engineering, enterprise integrations, and cloud-native architectures. You will collaborate closely with Product Management, Enterprise Architecture, Security, Data Engineering, and business stakeholders to drive the organization's Generative AI initiatives.
• The position expects demonstration of innovation. 
• You will interact with Helix’s service managers, enterprise architects, global development teams and third-party technology providers.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities: 
• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise Generative AI solutions.
• Define engineering standards, coding practices, and architectural guidelines for AI application development.
• Drive technical decision-making for AI platforms, frameworks, and technology selection.
• Mentor and coach developers, conduct code reviews, and foster engineering excellence.
• Integrate LLMs with enterprise applications, business workflows, and internal systems.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to build robust data pipelines supporting AI solutions.
• Design secure integrations with document repositories, databases, APIs, and enterprise platforms.
• Ensure AI solutions comply with organizational security, governance, and privacy standards.

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 8–12 years of software engineering experience.
• 2–4 years of experience designing and delivering production-grade Generative AI solutions, Large Language Models (LLMs), and AI solution architecture.
• Proven experience leading engineering teams or technical initiatives.
• Experience building scalable cloud-native applications.
• Strong understanding of secure software development practices.
• Drive architecture reviews and design discussions.
• Collaborate with enterprise architects and technology leaders.
• Establish best practices for AI development, testing, deployment, and governance.
• Partner with Product Managers and business stakeholders to prioritize AI initiatives.

At HELIX we believe in pay transparency and have set the midpoint of the salary band for this role at 3,398,800 INR. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. 

The salary listed is just one component of HELIX's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country specific benefits.
