We are looking for an experienced Principal Solutions Marketing Manager – Strategy & Go-to-Market to join our team. You will develop and execute go-to-market strategies that build awareness, customer engagement, and market preference across our solution portfolio. This person will work closely with Product Management, Solution Marketing, Demand & Field Marketing, Digital Marketing, Sales, Strategic Alliances, Customer Success, Sales Enablement, and Awareness Marketing to translate business strategy into effective market execution.
As part of your responsibilities, you may represent Helix at industry events, sales meetings, partner engagements, and customer meetings.
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies that support Helix's solution portfolio, strategic initiatives, target industries, and business priorities.
- Develop and evolve Helix's strategic narratives, translating corporate strategy and product capabilities into compelling sales stories, industry strategies, campaign themes, buyer engagement strategies, and partner go-to-market motions.
- Develop go-to-market frameworks that connect strategic narratives with integrated campaigns, sales plays, partner programs, and customer engagement.
- Drive cross-functional go-to-market planning for strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment across Product Management, Solution Marketing, Demand & Field Marketing, Digital Marketing, Awareness Marketing, Strategic Alliances, Sales Enablement, and Sales.
- Partner with Product Management and Solution Marketing to translate product capabilities into differentiated customer value propositions and integrated go-to-market strategies.
- Partner with Demand & Field Marketing to translate go-to-market strategies into integrated marketing campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, pipeline generation, and customer adoption.
- Develop industry go-to-market strategies, messaging, sales plays, and campaign approaches that address the unique priorities, challenges, and buying motions of key vertical markets.
- Collaborate with Strategic Alliances to develop joint go-to-market strategies, partner messaging, sales plays, and integrated marketing initiatives.
- Develop strategic sales guidance including sales plays, buyer conversation frameworks, executive presentations, elevator pitches, competitive positioning, and AI-ready go-to-market knowledge.
- Build and maintain structured go-to-market knowledge that enables consistent customer engagement across sellers, partners, customer success teams, and AI-powered sales assistants.
- Develop an intimate understanding of customers, buyers, industries, and market dynamics through customer interactions, market research, sales collaboration, win/loss analysis, and ongoing feedback loops.
- Analyze the competitive landscape and identify opportunities to strengthen Helix's differentiation and go-to-market effectiveness.
- Develop strong cross-functional partnerships and repeatable processes that improve go-to-market execution and enable strategic decision-making.
- Support thought leadership initiatives, executive presentations, analyst engagement, customer meetings, and industry events.
- Represent Helix externally at conferences, partner events, industry forums, and customer meetings in a credible and compelling manner.
Requirements
- Significant experience in enterprise software marketing, solution marketing, product marketing, sales strategy, or go-to-market leadership.
- Demonstrated success developing and executing go-to-market strategies across products, industries, and buyer segments.
- Strong experience developing strategic narratives, messaging frameworks, sales plays, campaign strategies, and customer engagement programs.
- Strong understanding of enterprise software buying cycles, buyer personas, industry marketing, and integrated go-to-market planning.
- Outstanding analytical ability and excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- Proven ability to influence and collaborate across Product Management, Marketing, Sales, Strategic Alliances, Customer Success, Sales Enablement, and executive leadership.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to execute at both a strategic and detailed level while managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Strong curiosity for emerging AI, enterprise software, and go-to-market best practices.
- Professional team player with strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- BS/BA degree required; MBA preferred.

The annual base salary range represents the low and high end of the BMC Helix salary range for this position. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
The range listed is just one component of Helix's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country specific benefits.
At Helix, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at /near the top of the range. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $175,800 - $293,000
