BMC Helix is looking for a DevSecOps Engineer, an innovator at heart, to join a team of highly skilled software developers, responsible for TrueSight Orchestration.
We are looking for a high-impact DevSecOps Engineer with strong expertise in CI/CD, containerization, automation, and security integration. You will be responsible for building secure, scalable, and automated pipelines, enabling faster and safer software delivery across cloud-native environments.

This role requires a strong blend of DevOps + Security + Automation skills to embed security practices throughout the SDLC.

Here is how, through this exciting role, you will contribute to BMC Helix and your own success:
  • Design, implement, and manage secure CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Power shell and Groovy
  • Automate infrastructure and deployments using Ansible, scripting, and Infrastructureas- Code (IaC)
  • Build and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
  • Integrate security tools and practices (DevSecOps) into CI/CD pipelines (SAST, DAST, SCA)
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python, Shell, and PowerShell
  • Ensure secure API development and integrations, including authentication and authorization
  • Monitor system performance, reliability, and security using observability tools
  • Perform vulnerability assessments, patching, and compliance enforcement
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and security teams to enforce shift-left security
  • Troubleshoot production issues and ensure SLA/SLO adherence
To ensure you’re set up for success, you will bring the following skillset and experience:

Strong experience in:
  • Jenkins (CI/CD pipeline design)
  • Docker & Kubernetes (container orchestration)
  • Ansible (automation/configuration management)
  • Linux system administration
Proficiency in:
  • Scripting & programming: Python, Shell, PowerShell, Groovy
  • API development & security concepts (REST APIs, OAuth2, JWT, API gateways)
Hands-on experience in:
  • Secure CI/CD pipeline implementation
  • Source control systems (Git, GitHub)
  • DevSecOps & Security Expertise
Experience with DevSecOps tools such as:
  • SAST: SonarQube, Checkmarx
  • DAST: Endor-Lab, Burp Suite or alikes
  • Security tools : Aqua, Semgrep, Whiehat or alike
Knowledge of:
  • Vulnerability management and remediation
  • Secrets management (Vault, AWS Secrets Manager)
  • Container security (Aqua, Twistlock, Trivy)
Understanding of:
  • Secure coding practices
  • Compliance frameworks (OWASP Top 10, CIS benchmarks)
  • Cloud & Modern DevOps Stack
Experience with cloud platforms:
  • AWS / Azure / GCP
Infrastructure as Code:
  • Terraform, Puppet or alike
Observability & Monitoring:
  • Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog
Container ecosystem:
  • Helm, ArgoCD or alike

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Knowledge of GitOps practices and tools (ArgoCD)
  • Experience with service mesh (Istio, Linkerd)
  • Exposure to Zero Trust security architecture
  • Experience in enterprise-scale distributed systems
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies

At HELIX we believe in pay transparency and have set the midpoint of the salary band for this role at 2,841,000 INR. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. 

The salary listed is just one component of HELIX's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country specific benefits.
