Now, we’re looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team and play a strong role in shaping the future of ITOM delivery.



Here is how, through this exciting role, YOU will contribute to BMC's and your own success:

  • Contribute to monthly deployments and upgrades of the ITOM SaaS suite across 20+ global data centers
  • Contribute to semi-annual upgrades of services like Victoria Metrics, OpenSearch, Redis, and Kafka across AWS, Oracle, and Google Cloud.
  • Migrate customers between ITOM instances, apply hotfixes, implement change requests, and resolve service requests.
  • Remediate monitoring alerts, contribute to automation initiatives, and implement reliable processes that scale.

To ensure you’re set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in a DevOps role
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field; certifications such as CKA, AWS, GCP, OCI are a plus
  • Strong experience with Kubernetes, including Helm charts
  • Proficiency in Shell scripting (absolute must); additional scripting/automation experience with Python and Java is desirable
  • Hands-on experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and Spinnaker, following best practices
  • Knowledge of Terraform & Ansible is desirable
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and project management tools (JIRA)
  • Experience with at least one or all of AWS, Google Cloud, and Oracle Cloud
  • Exposure to AWS managed services such as Kafka, OpenSearch, ElastiCache, and Postgres/RDS is a plus
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Kibana, Fluentbit is a plus

At HELIX we believe in pay transparency and have set the midpoint of the salary band for this role at 2,117,800 INR. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. 

The salary listed is just one component of HELIX's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country specific benefits.
