Helix is looking for an experienced Senior Product Developer – BMC Helix Innovation Studio / ITSM to join us and design, develop, and deliver enterprise-grade applications and platform capabilities using the latest technologies.


Here is how, through this exciting role, YOU will contribute to BMC's and your own success: 

  • Own end-to-end delivery of product enhancements, new features, and defect fixes from design through deployment.
  • Design, develop, and enhance applications using BMC Helix Innovation Studio, Remedy platform technologies, and the Helix Innovation Suite.
  • Develop workflows, REST APIs, integrations, customizations, and enterprise solutions for BMC Helix ITSM applications.
  • Design and develop modern web applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Architects, QA, and Engineering teams to deliver scalable, high-quality enterprise solutions.
  • Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and customer issue resolution.
  • Work with geographically distributed cross-functional teams while contributing to engineering best practices, quality initiatives, and continuous improvement.
To ensure you’re set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience: 
  • 8–15 years of experience in BMC Remedy / Helix application development.
  • Strong hands-on experience with BMC Helix Innovation Studio, Remedy Workflow, and Helix Innovation Suite.
  • Strong understanding of the functional and architectural aspects of the BMC Helix ITSM Suite.
  • Experience developing enterprise applications using BMC products including Helix ITSM, Digital Workplace (DWP), Helix Platform, Business Workflows, and HSSO.
  • Experience designing and developing REST APIs, integrations, enterprise workflows, and distributed enterprise applications.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Angular, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Experience developing enterprise software products and troubleshooting multi-tier enterprise applications.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills with experience working in geographically distributed teams.
  • Experience leading technical design, mentoring engineers, and driving engineering best practices.

Whilst these are nice to have, our team can help you develop in the following skills:
  • Experience with Agentic AI technologies and frameworks such as LangChain, LangSmith, Model Context Protocol (MCP), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI Agents, embeddings, and vector databases.
  • Experience integrating Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) with enterprise applications.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or OCI).
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, and observability tools such as OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, or Dynatrace.

At HELIX we believe in pay transparency and have set the midpoint of the salary band for this role at 3,398,800 INR. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. 

The salary listed is just one component of HELIX's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country specific benefits.
