We are looking for a highly skilled and forward-thinking BMC Helix ITSM Expert with 7–8 years of deep technical experience to drive the design, development, and integration of enterprise service management solutions. In this role, you will bridge traditional ITIL service management with cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence (AI) models and automation capabilities.

You will be responsible for building advanced applications using BMC Innovation Studio, embedding generative/predictive AI into core workflows, and working directly alongside enterprise customers to deploy high-impact solutions.
Here is how, through this exciting role, YOU will contribute to BMC Helix's and your own success:

  • Core Development & Architecture: Design, build, and deploy custom workflow applications and extensions using BMC Innovation Studio and the BMC Helix platform.
  • AI Integration & Innovation: Architect and implement AI-driven capabilities within ITSM/ITIL workflows, leveraging various Large Language Models (LLMs), natural language processing, and predictive models to automate IT service operations.
  • Customer Collaboration & Field Engineering: Work hands-on with enterprise clients to gather complex technical requirements, build tailored prototypes, co-develop custom code, and oversee technical deployments in customer environments.
  • System Integration: Design and implement scalable integrations using REST APIs, enterprise web services, and database queries across heterogeneous IT landscapes.
  • Process Alignment: Translate core ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Service Request, Asset, and Knowledge Management) into modern, automated digital experiences.
  • Directly impact customer outcomes by building next-generation digital agent solutions.
  • Drive technical innovation across global enterprise environments.
  • Work at the intersection of enterprise IT Service Management and cutting-edge AI technologies.
To ensure you’re set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:

  • BMC Ecosystem Expertise: 7+ years of hands-on experience developing, customizing, and administering BMC Remedy / BMC Helix ITSM solutions, with proven expertise in building applications via BMC Innovation Studio.
  • Must-Have AI Expertise: Practical experience selecting, fine-tuning, or integrating AI/ML models (e.g., LLMs, embedding models, classification pipelines) into enterprise applications.
  • Programming & Scripting: Strong proficiency in Python and Java.
  • Data & APIs: Advanced skills in SQL (database design & querying) and building/consuming RESTful APIs.
  • ITIL Mastery: Deep conceptual and operational understanding of standard ITIL framework/processes.
  • Customer-Facing Experience: Direct experience developing custom code and leading technical implementations collaboratively with external clients or internal business partners.
  • Methodologies: Strong knowledge of BMC ADAPT framework and modern agile delivery methodologies.
  • Forward Deployed Engineering Experience: Previous experience as a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) or Solution Engineer, rapidly building and deploying tailored technical solutions directly in live customer environments.
  • Multi-Platform ITSM Background: Hands-on working experience with alternative service management platforms, specifically ServiceNow ITSM or Jira Service Management (JSM).
  • Advanced AI Technologies: Experience with modern AI developer ecosystems (e.g., agentic workflows, Model Context Protocol/MCP, vector databases, RAG architecture).

At HELIX we believe in pay transparency and have set the midpoint of the salary band for this role at 3,398,800 INR. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. 

The salary listed is just one component of HELIX's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country specific benefits.
