The Associate Cash Management Analyst is responsible for managing daily cash operations, supporting liquidity planning, cash forecasting, banking activities, and treasury reporting across a global organization. This role plays a critical part in optimizing working capital, ensuring adequate liquidity, enhancing treasury processes, and supporting strategic financial decision-making.


Key Responsibilities:

Cash & Liquidity Management
Manage daily cash positioning and global cash balances.
Monitor liquidity needs and ensure adequate funding across legal entities and regions.
Support short-term and long-term cash forecasting processes.
Analyze cash inflows and outflows to identify trends and optimization opportunities.
Assist with investment of excess cash and management of short-term borrowing activities.

Treasury Operations
Execute treasury transactions including wire transfers, ACH payments, intercompany funding, and banking activities.
Maintain relationships with banking partners and support treasury banking initiatives.
Monitor bank account activity and ensure timely resolution of exceptions.
Support bank account administration, signatory management, and compliance requirements.
Facilitate treasury controls and ensure adherence to internal policies.

Forecasting & Analysis
Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly cash forecasts.
Perform variance analysis between forecasted and actual cash activity.
Develop liquidity reporting and management dashboards.
Support working capital improvement initiatives.
Provide insights and recommendations to finance leadership.

Process Improvement & Automation
Identify opportunities to improve treasury processes through automation and AI-enabled tools.
Partner with Finance Systems teams to optimize treasury technologies and reporting capabilities.
Support treasury management system enhancements and process standardization.
Drive efficiency, accuracy, and scalability across treasury operations.

Risk Management & Compliance
Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and financial policies.
Support SOX compliance activities and treasury-related audits.
Monitor banking and counterparty risk.
Assist with fraud prevention controls and payment security initiatives.

Cross-Functional Partnership
Collaborate with Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Legal, Procurement, and Operations teams.
Support month-end and quarter-end close activities related to treasury operations.
Provide cash-related analysis to support strategic business decisions.
Assist with M&A integration, banking transitions, and corporate finance initiatives as needed.


Qualifications:

Required
Minimum of one (1) year of experience in Treasury, Corporate Finance, Capital Markets, or a related analytical field; relevant internship experience may also be considered.
Entry-level financial and data analysis skills with strong analytical and quantitative abilities.
Ability to work with financial data, build and update spreadsheets, and apply basic financial modeling techniques.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Clear communication skills and a team-oriented, proactive approach.
Display strong attention to detail.
Experience with ERP platforms such as Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, or similar systems.
Knowledge of banking products, payment systems, ACH, wire transfers, and cash management services.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred
Experience in a global technology or SaaS organization.
Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) certification.
Experience with Treasury Management Systems (Kyriba, FIS, IT2, GTreasury, etc.).
Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools.
Exposure to foreign exchange and international banking operations.

Success Measures

Within the first 12 months, the successful candidate will:
Improve cash forecast accuracy and reporting timeliness.
Enhance treasury dashboard visibility for executive leadership.
Identify and implement process improvements that reduce manual effort.
Strengthen banking controls and treasury compliance practices.
Support optimization of working capital and liquidity management.
Contribute to scalable treasury operations that support BMC Helix's continued growth.

The annual base salary range represents the low and high end of the BMC Helix salary range for this position. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. 

The range listed is just one component of Helix's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country specific benefits.

At Helix, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at /near the top of the range. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $64,200 - $107,000
